I'm so sorry guys! I don't think the other mods and I realized that we extended the deadline for the "party" theme that it would fall during a holiday weekend. As such, life is a bit hectic at the moment for all of us. For that reason, we are extending the deadline once more time. The new deadline will be one week from today, July 10th at 11:59 CST.
Once again, I apologize. We have already gotten some great stories in. If you've been planning on writing a story for this theme, here's your chance!

Rating: PG-13 for mild swearing and mild impliying that certain people are doing certain things...*cough*
Word Count: Errr...6109 words. I made a mistake when reading the rules and thought that each seperate ficlet had to be 1000 words, not 1000 total 0.o I only realised for the Felix/Meg one, which is why it's shorter than the others.
Spoilers: Erm, none really because it's technically all AU. It's mentioned in one that Lilly's dead...=P
Summary: Five Things that Never Happened at a Party in Neptune. Mostly AU.
Notes:My first ever fanfic! Wheee! This challenge attracted me too much ^^ Well, basically the only thing that the fics have in common is the following quote:
Troy: What do you say, dawg? You ready to ( get this party started )? You ready to ( burn this mother down )?
( Up jump the boogie )?
Duncan: My plan, and I haven't worked this out entirely yet, so bear with me, was to... ( raise the roof )
Troy: See, that is so you, man, Mr. Old School.
Duncan: Me, old school? You're the one who wanted to come down here and ( get jiggy wit' it
). So, uh, you wanna go meet the locals or what?

Five Things That Never Happened at a Party in Neptune

The Challenge:
Over the last two seasons, Neptune's citizens have been hosts to every time of party imaginable. Beach raves, proms, Christmas parties complete with carolers and fake snow. We know what happens at these parties. People fight, actors get stabbed, murders are solved, and, usually, there's a good healthy dose of angst to go along with the spiked punch.
But what doesn't happen?
The challenge for Round Three is to pick a party, any party, and tell us five things that didn't happen during the festivities. Actually, pick several paties if you so wish! Your fic can feature as many of Neptune's parties as you want, as long as they were all at least mentioned in canon. For example, Logan's "Life is Short" party? Fine! Dick's New Year Party? Sadie Casablancas' Halloween party? Good and good! However, "a party Aaron threw when Logan was 5"? Not fine. If you have any questions about if a particular party counts, leave a comment and ask!
Rules:
1. All submitted fics must follow the 5 Things format. That is, they must be composed of five seperate vignettes that all relate to the challenge.
2. Submitted fics must be at least 1000 words.
3. Anyone can enter any of the challenges, all you have to do is join the community to gain posting access.
4. We ask that any writer's who sumbit fics please add one of our banners to their user info. We're not going to hunt you down and check on you, but it's a great way to spead the word and make sure we all have lots of great fic to read!

1. Fics are due June 17 by 11:59 CST to be considered for voting.
2. Please write the title of your fic, followed by your user name and the rating as the subject line of your post.
